Student Testimonial-
Hi Adriane,
I just wanted to thank you for all of the work you put in as our dance teacher. I am so grateful to have the chance to learn from you. I just thought I'd let you known how appreciated you are. You make class so enjoyable and you always manage to throw more fuel on my flame of dance inspiration. I'm still soooooooo excited about dance from last night's class. It is truly wonderful that your classes have that effect on us dancers.

                    Thank you,

                    Nani Pacal,
                    College Student

Belly Dance Class Materials and Attire:
Please bring a yoga mat for class warmups.  Workout or yoga clothing is suitable for belly dance classes. It is preferable to wear clothing that is not too loose in order for the instructor to see your movement better. Students belly dance in bare feet or in ballet slippers. Most students enjoy wearing a coin hip scarf around their hips, available for sale for $20 from the instructor.

Dear Students,
Thank you so much for your interest in learning the beautiful art of belly dance.  I have seen my students benefit in so many ways from learning belly dance:

Physical Benefits-
My students learn to be more in touch with their own bodies, increased muscle tone and core strength, and move in a more confident and graceful way.  Many of my students have improved their posture and flexibility, often healing chronic tension, such as low back pain.

Social Benefits-
Belly dance offers a supportive and fun-loving community for women.  Many long-lasting friendships and connections have been made in my classes.  My students enjoy catching up with each other in class and attending Sacramento's numerous belly dance shows together.

Emotional Benefits-
Numerous students have shared that learning belly dance taught them to have more self-confidence and feel more comfortable with their bodies.  Belly dance is also a great form of stress relief for many of my students- a way of nurturing themselves and enjoying a temporary escape from their daily responsibilities.

Creative Benefits-
Belly dance is a wonderful outlet for self-expression.  We listen to exotic music from the Middle East and learn to dance in a way that embodies beauty and a full range of emotions.  Dancing in dazzling costumes and exploring dance through improvisation and choreography, my students find the creative possibilities in belly dance to be endless!

I look forward to sharing belly dance with you and welcome you to our wonderful local community of belly dancers!

                              Yours in dance,
